About NIWEC
Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) during the year 1983 constructed this Recreation Centre on a vast piece of land admeasuring about seven acres. This Centre was subsequently handed over to the Board of Trustees under the leadership of Late Padmashree Babubhai Rathi, the founder of Industrial Estate at Nashik, in the year 1983. A Board of Trustees and the Governing Council included representatives from Large, Medium and Small scale Industries. The nominees from MIDC, Nashik Industries Manufacturers Association (NIMA) and NICE joined the group and completed the quorum.

In particular, our young Table Tennis players under the age of 15 are emerging as some of the finest talents in India.
