President Message

Dear Fellow Members,

At the outset, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to every player representing NIWEC—whether at the city, state, or national level. Your dedication and achievements continue to make us proud. In particular, our young Table Tennis players under the age of 15 are emerging as some of the finest talents in India.

As a club, NIWEC remains committed to upholding the highest standards across all sports. The enthusiasm of our members, who actively participate in both established and emerging sports, motivates the Governing Council to innovate and introduce new disciplines. A testament to this spirit is the successful addition of Pickleball, now played on the first four courts in North Maharashtra. The recent tournament further reinforced its acceptance alongside other racquet sports.

Our Badminton and Tennis facilities continue to be among the best in Nashik, and with the onset of summer, we look forward to a vibrant swimming season, with participation at the national level. The jogging track is flourishing, becoming greener by the day. Gymnastics, Football, and Cricket remain strong pillars of our sporting culture, engaging our younger members.

Exciting times lie ahead! Very soon, NIWEC will introduce a brand-new sport—a first in India. We eagerly anticipate its launch, as well as the thrill of cheering on the winners of NIWEC OPEN 2025, an event that marks yet another milestone in our club’s journey.

My team and I remain dedicated to the continued progress of NIWEC. Thank you for your unwavering support and enthusiastic participation.

Warm regards,
Janak Sarda
